The Pink Coat

Hey dolls,

Hope you're all well, today I thought I would show you a set I created on one of my new favourite apps, Polyvore. I absolutely love how easy it is to create outfits and I personally love it! If you like seeing these sort of posts please let me know, I love creating post like this, especially when I can't afford some of the pieces in them (Cartier rings, I'm in love).

As per usual posts are very inconsistent at the moment and I'm so sorry about that, A S level exams have been so much work but I finish them in about a weeks so I will definitely be cracking on with the blog. Good luck to all those taking exams at the moment, I know you'll do great!

Monthly Favourite

Hey everyone,

I'm so sorry it's been such a long time since I've blogged, life has gotten pretty crazy in the past few months. But today I thought I'd share my skin care favourite with you from the past few months. My favourite product that I've been dying to tell you all about is the 'Replenix Fortified Exfoliation Scrub', it is honestly the most incredible exfoliator I've ever used. It is perfect for oily to combination skin and once applied to the face delivers a 'soothing wave of cleansing heat' which gently removes excess oils, dry and dead skin cells and leaves skin feeling completely refreshed. The exfoliator is also filled with minerals that leave the skin feeling moisturised, conditioned and soft, unlike some scrubs which leave the skin feeling dry. I use this twice a week, as recommended, and I use it normally on a Sunday as a pampering treat and Wednesday for a mid week pick me up.

I've had this product for over 4 months and still have a third of the product left which I think is amazing, a small amount goes a long way with this product which I love. It also keeps my spots at bay which I am so grateful for, the formula really calms down redness and cleanses them really nicely. The product is retailed at £25-30 which although seems quite pricey, I think is reasonable considering the amazing results.

The only down side of this product is the salts in it are very gritty, so although it works wonders on your face using it in the bath makes it feel like you've got sand at the bottom of it. Which although exfoliates the bum, it can become uncomfortable and annoy other family members.

Overall the exfoliator is the best I've personally ever used and I'm constantly trying to find a high street dupe to compare it too, but  nothing comes close. Although it is pricey I think it is completely worth the splash of cash considering the effectiveness and how long it lasts. I hope you are all well, and I promise I'll be posting more frequently in the future.

Lots of love,

Product Review - Smashbox BB Cream, Max Factor Mascara

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all well, a few weeks ago I got some products from boots and I thought I would review two of my favorites for you. The first product was actually a tester, it is the 'Smashbox Photo Ready BB Cream'  It is oil free s.p.f 35 and glides on to the skin like a dream. The coverage is quite light and you do have to blend it very well in case it can look streaky. Yesterday I was with some friends playing tennis and because it was cloudy I neglected to put sun-cream on, but of course I got extremely burnt. However my face is still as pale as ever, so I was so thankful I'd worn it. The SPF is great, and it does leave your skin with a healthy finish. However the coverage is not the best and it did tend to streak on my face, so alot of blending is required. I don't think I'll be buying the full size of the product because it is very pricey at £27 and didn't work for me.

I next got the 'Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara' in black, I have bought this product many a time and it never fails to impress me. I have used many mascaras and this is my favourite right now. The formula allows my lashes to look full and thick without looking too clumpy and brush is really big so gets every singe lash, which I love. This particular mascara works wonders with my lashes and I will definitely be repurchasing. It again is quite pricey at £10.99 but for me can last up to six months.

I hope you enjoyed this review, I love writing them. If there are any products you would like me to review please comment below.

Lots of love,

Prom

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I had my Year 11 prom or Sophomore prom! It was amazing, it was great to see old friends and especially look at what everyone was wearing. To be honest, everyone looked stunning!

I apprehensively bought my dress from a website. It looked perfect online and I couldn't find any other one that I liked. But I was pleasantly surprised, the dress did fit and it look exactly what It looked like online! So don't be afraid girls, buy online!

Overall the day was amazing, so I thought I would share some photos from the day with you all! Enjoy!

OPI Gel Nail Vanish Review and Experience

Hello everyone,

With prom tomorrow I booked myself in to have my nails done. I was so excited as I have had my nails done before, but never with the OPI Gels and my friend suggest I do a review on my experience.

First of all I had the usual, nails filed into shape, cuticles treated and the base coat applied. She then started with the first colour 'Bubble Bath' it is this pretty light pink shade that was almost translucent.

After she'd applied this coat she put my hand into this OPI nail setting machine. When your hand was is the correct position it would set of the timer (set at 45 seconds) and the light, which would harden the nail vanish. She did this each time she applied a coat of vanish which was around four times.

Since I was having a french manicure she next applied 'Alpine Snow' to create the white tip and then 'Princess Rule' this is again a beautiful light pink but this one had a subtle shimmer which I loved.

Finally she applied the top coat and we were done.

Overall I absolutely love them, they are meant to last up to two to three weeks, but I'll check back in with you and see if that happens. I think they're the perfect alternative to acrylics, they look more natural and are better for your nails!

The only downside is that you have to get them taken off professionally, which I think is quite a pain as I'd just want to have them put back on.

I hope you enjoyed this review and I would definitely recommend OPI Gels to you all.

Wireless Festival

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I went to Wireless! For those who haven't heard of Wireless it is a music festival which this year took place at the Olympic Park in London, you can go for 1-3 days but because of the price I opted for the one. I'd never been before but I'd heard it was amazing...and it was! I saw Jay Z, Rita Ora, Calvin Harris and so many more.

It was 30 degrees in London on Saturday and I can honestly say I've never been that hot before in my life but it was the best day ever and would highly recommend it to anyone. Definitely going to go next year!

I went with four of my closet friends and I thought I would share my festival look and highlights of the day with you.

Enjoy,
